Here is the first reissue of the cult musical based on the life of Lola Montez. LOLA was written by the team responsible for The Grass Harp, Claibe Richardson and Kenward Elmslie. The CD features a cast including Broadway stars Judy Kaye, Christine Andreas, David Carroll and Jack Dabdoub. Also included is a bonus track of the hit song from the show, “Beauty Secrets,” sung by Barbara Cook, plus a 39-page booklet featuring a synopsis and the complete lyrics from this wonderful score.
