DESCRIPTION:Our 10th annual collaboration with The Cleveland Jazz Orchestra celebrates the songs of Hoagy Carmichael. A jazz legend\, Hoagy composed (and often wrote lyrics for) a beloved chapter of the Great American Songbook\, besides writing for many films. Just think of “Skylark\,” “Georgia on My Mind\,” “Heart and Soul” and the Oscar-winning “In the Cool\, Cool\, Cool of the Evening.”
