A Snappy Hour With David Pogue

David Pogue

Like father, like son. We know attorney Richard Pogue to be a stellar community leader: innovative, always gracious and totally committed to our town. On November 14 we would like you to meet his son David, whose qualities are equally impressive, but whose track record is dramatically different. We’re calling this wine-and cheese event “A Snappy Hour with David Pogue,” and we are limiting attendance to just 60 of our supporters. Hosted by Maura O’Hara-Finley, it will be held in the Penthouse suite of Bratenahl Place Building 1.

Interestingly, David began his career as a composer for the musical theater, then somehow segued into writing the very first (and quite famous) Macs for Dummies book. He went on to become an Emmy Award-winning television journalist on the popular series “CBS Sunday Morning.” He’s been on the air for 24 years, and the list of the luminaries he has interviewed is virtually endless.

David will be at the piano, leading us through a witty journey of how he successfully avoided becoming an attorney. Joining him will be three of our stalwarts: Nancy Maier, Erin Keckan and Bob Noll – and of course the proud father, now 98.

Join us for wine and cheese at 6:30 pm. The performance will begin at 7 pm.
