Looking for a really good way to support TMTP’s mission? How about attending our April benefit event at Cleveland’s historic Union Club? The evening includes cocktails, dinner, both live and silent auctions, a few surprises—and most important, a spectacular singer in a show created just for us.
She’s HELEN WELCH, a native Brit but for 22 years a Clevelander who has developed a love affair with our town, and it’s mutual. Helen has titled her new show “Broadway, My Way!” She’ll put her unique spin on great songs from iconic musicals including Kiss Me, Kate, Meet Me in St. Louis, South Pacific, My Fair Lady, The King and I, Oklahoma! and more.
Helen is now considered Cleveland’s Own, but actually she’s an international vocalist and entertainer who has wowed audiences from London’s West End to Broadway.
“This show reflects my deep love for Broadway and Hollywood musicals and my passion for creative reinterpretation,” she says. “You know and love the songs, but my hope is that you’ve never heard them done quite this way before. That’s the fun of it for me and the audience.”
