Legacy Giving

“It’s really the overture for any musical that thrills us in anticipation of what follows.”

– Jean & John Piety
Founding members of TMTP’s ENCORE! Society

“The Musical Theater Project is community-driven. At Song Is You! Concerts, the audience is educated without realizing it because they’re having such a good time. And TMTP does great work with children to introduce them to musicals as an art form. TMTP is worthy of our support and I’m so glad to be a part of it all.”
– Susan Kohn, founding member of TMTP’s ENCORE! Society

20 Years of Making Music
For more than two decades, The Musical Theater Project has grown and flourished because we considered producing our one-of-a-kind arts education programs and fiscal responsibility to be equally important endeavors. We were honored and humbled when John and Jean Piety and Susan Kohn helped TMTP to dream big as a result of their legacy gifts in 2017. What’s more, their generosity is helping TMTP discover new opportunities to “sing” in spite of challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Help to sustain TMTP’s artistic vision as a member of our newly established ENCORE! Society.
Remembering TMTP in your estate plan or though a beneficiary designation is an especially easy way to help preserve and celebrate the social and cultural importance of  the art form, even if you don’t have the ability to make a cash gift today. Your gift can be designated to TMTP’s Organizational Fund at The Cleveland Foundation, creating an incredible investment in TMTP’s future.
