Kids Love Musicals!

bringing learning to life

About Our School Residencies

Let’s have your students close their computers and get them up on their feet, singing, dancing and learning with Kids Love Musicals! 2026 marks the 20th anniversary of these acclaimed two-day residencies.

Our professional teaching artist works with four separate classes two days in a row for 50-minute periods.

And what happens in those two periods? A lot! We fill your classrooms with singing, dancing, acting and learning—and your children are active participants!

TMTP’s teaching artist provides music, costumes and standards-based lessons designed to enrich as well as educate. Students are empowered to employ imagination, creativity and reasoning skills— learning more about their lives and their world by exploring the dreams of the musical’s characters. In other words, discovering the Mowgli, Dorothy or Cinderella inside themselves.
